The Silver Star

Oh my goodness! I love these sneakers. I usually don't wear sneakers... at all, but I would make an exception for these. 

They're Giuseppe Zanotti silver high tops with zippers on the back and sides. These could add the perfect "pop" to any outfit. Absolutely gorgeous.

Nicki Minaj wore the same pair at the American Music Awards in November. I didn't really like her outfit but the sneakers made it all better!

Hello! So this is one of my recent purchases. It's a Gucci handbag. The fabric is denim and it has a brown leather trim.

Fashion Hunters

                                 


                      I love this show; it's seriously amazing. The video clip above is part of the episode that Yulia was in. The dress that she brought in was gorgeous. It was Marc Jacobs and very elegant, I would definitely buy that. Tara described Yulia as a "tough cookie", but it's great that she knew what she was talking about and had a price in mind prior to arriving at the store. Therefore, she would get a great deal and not be convinced to go too much lower than the price she wanted.
     
                      Take notes for the next time you are planning on visiting a consignment boutique! It's interesting to see the different clothes that people get at such great prices. I loved the show and this episode was great.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011

I got a chance to watch the Victoria's Secret Fashion show. It was so beautiful. The runway looked absolutely great and the models were incredibly gorgeous. 

One of the cutest things I saw was the silver sequined hoodie, I loved it... it was so sparkly and bright! I am definitely buying one. I also really liked the black polka dot hoodie in the shape of a Victoria's Secret dog (pictured above).  

I enjoyed the fact that the models were having so much fun. They really looked like they were enjoying themselves and that was the best part. The music was great and there was a happy and upbeat mood!

I enjoyed watching it, it was so lovely and I can't wait until next year.

Fashion Hunters: Yulia Omelich

I am extremely excited to announce that Yulia Omelich, the owner of Couture Dossier, will be featured on Fashion Hunters. She will appear on two episodes; one on November 29th and the other on December 6th at 10:30 pm. 

Couture Dossier is a very unique boutique located in Chappaqua, NY. The boutique features many different brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermes... just to name a few. The boutique wins various awards all the time and it is often visited by many celebrities. Yulia is such a friendly and welcoming person. As soon as you step through those doors you feel right at home.

Fashion Hunters is a very interesting show. It follows a team of fashionistas who go searching for designer fashions at reasonable prices. They find some of the most gorgeous fashions in New York. I know for a fact that anyone who is as obsessed with fashion as I am will love this show!

American Music Awards 2011: Top 3

Selena Gomez

Selena looked absolutely glamorous tonight at the award show. She wore a champagne colored satin gown by Giorgio Armani. The thigh-high slit and plunging neckline made this dress look very mature. Selena was able to top her look off with an assortment of shiny accessories; she looked really lovely!

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was stunning at the award show. She wore a sparkly gold dress by Reem Acra. She accessorized with bright green earrings and put her hair in a side ponytail to compliment her dress. Taylor was absolutely gorgeous!

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum definitely looked amazing. She wore a silver metallic Giles Deacon dress. It had a laser cut design which showed her purple bodysuit underneath. She finished her look with simple but classy black peep toe heels. 

These were my favorites for the night. They looked so amazing and I was truly impressed. It was a great award show and these ladies dressed lovely. Good Job!

I'm so excited because I went shopping on Saturday. One of the stores I got to visit was Bakers. I've wanted combat boots for a while but I've never seen any that I actually liked. Once I saw these, I fell in love! They'll look so good with a casual outfit. They also have this in black, but I chose the natural color just because I thought it would be cuter. As soon as I got home, I put them on and didn't even want to take them off; I'm so obsessed with them! Anyways, I just wanted to share with you one of my new favorite pairs of shoes!

Shiny and New!

                   Hey! Well I recently bought this Louis Vuitton handbag and it's just so gorgeous. The color is called prune electric. It's leather and it has a glossy finish that makes it super shiny. You can't look at it without saying, "wow, you're so pretty." It has a Louis Vuitton charm attached to the handle. There are also two keys that are used for opening and closing the lock that is attached to the zipper.

                  I absolutely can't wait to wear this. It would really look great with any outfit. This bag will add that shiny, new touch to an outfit. People will definitely take a second look because seriously, if this isn't glamorous then I don't know what is!

Ugg Australia: Sequins

     Hey There! So obviously, I'm obsessed with sequins! Things that are sparkly and bright just make me take a second look. I recently got a pair of these gold sequin Uggs and I absolutely adore them. They are so bright and you could see them from a mile away! The other night, it was pretty cold outside so I wore them to the Greek Festival; everyone LOVED them. I'm just so obsessed with them, they even have glitter on the bottom, how cute is that? I'll probably wear them every now and then with jeans or some casual outfit, it'll make any casual outfit look so fun. I'm so happy, these are gorgeous!

I was looking at his collection and thought it was so cool how he decided to do something different and go with an African theme. The animal prints and flowy fabrics are so gorgeous. Emmys 2011: Best Dressed

Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood looked absolutely gorgeous. She wore a black embroidered Elie Saab gown. She accessorized herself with Fred Leighton jewelry, a Judith Leiber bag, and Salvatore Ferguson peep toe pumps. The train on her dress adds a very nice touch. I'm also liking the fact that it was black because many of the other stars decided to wear red!

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev looked stunning in her red Donna Karan dress. Along with the beautiful dress, she wore Neil Lane jewelry, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Brian Atwood shoes. Red looks great on her and the dress shows off her curves. Absolutely glamourous!

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara was so beautiful in her coral Vera Wang one-shouldered gown. She added Lorraine Shwartz jewelry and Casadei heels. This dress showed off her curves, I loved it. It's a very beautiful color for her. Great job, Sofia!

Kerry Washington

My other favorite red dress! Kerry Washington wore a Zuhair Murad gown. She added a bright red Tube clutch and Jimmy Choo platform pumps. She looked beautiful. I love the train on her dress and the red lipstick looks really nice.

Prestige: Miley Cyrus Cover Girl

I came across the cover of this magazine and I thought it was such a beautiful picture. I think that Miley Cyrus' new hairstyle looks really nice on her. It's awesome that she decided to go for a different look and switch up her style. I am especially in love with the heart tattoo on her pinky!!! So cute. The dress looks beautiful on her and this is a very elegant cover photo for Miley.

Online Shopping Sundays: Lovely Leather

                I hope everyone has had a great Sunday! I love relaxing on Sundays, it's a great day to sit around and do nothing. An awesome part of my sunday is online shopping! I bought the cute leather skirt pictured above at Charlotte Russe. I love the fact that it has the visible zipper in the back, it adds a very nice touch to the skirt. It was only $24.99 and I love it. I don't know what I'll wear it with yet. I'll probably get a bright colored blouse and tuck it in. I'm so excited and can't wait to wear it!

          So this tee shirt is from WildFox Couture. I love their shirts, they're so cute. All of the cool phrases and pretty colors just draw you in. I like this tee; it's perfect for a casual day out and Beyonce has one just like it! The way she wore it was cute, she was obviously going for the casual look. You could wear this shirt with jeans or leggings and spice your outfit up with accessories. I'll probably end up buying one, I'm always shopping. Teen Choice Awards 2011: My Favorites!

Selena Gomez

  Selena looked absolutely stunning in her gold Erin Fetherston dress. The sheer white train that flowed at her side made the dress look even more glamorous. She paired it with flowered Brian Atwood heels and a bright pink clutch that added the extra spark to her outfit.

Blake Lively

Blake Lively was gorgeous in a bright orange leather Gucci dress. It looked great on her and the unusual color really made her stand out. She accessorized herself in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. The leopard print Christian Louboutin heels were the perfect match for that fabulous dress.

Fergie

Can you say shining star? Fergie stepped onto the blue carpet wearing a body-con Dolce & Gabbana mini dress. Her yellow and black dress was filled with yellow and black stars. Maybe she even wanted matching hair, check out her blond hair and brown roots. She had on black Christian Louboutin heels and a black clutch to match.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swifts outfit was absolutely lovely. She wore a white Rafael Cennamo dress and added a Ranjana Khan belt that added a glow to the plain white. Taylor was wearing Neil Lane jewelry and a pair of Fendi heels. She looked amazing!

These outfits really stood out to me. They were all absolutely glamorous in their own way. Use them as an inspiration and make you life a little more glamorous!

Couture Dossier

  Two days ago, I was strolling through Chappaqua, NY. I spotted a boutique that looked so interesting because it had a red carpet and red ropes at the door. Since it looked so intriguing, my mom and I decided to go in. One of the best decisions I've ever made!
   As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Yulia Omelich. She was so nice and welcoming and I was just so happy that I decided to go in from that exact moment. The shop was filled with very nice things and limited edition items. My mom and I looked through the clothing racks while Yulia showed us many different handbags and accessories. She showed us a black Louis Vuitton clutch with the gold zip that is currently not made anymore. She showed us the Louis Vuitton collector's clutch and a brown Louis Vuitton handbag. She has very great prices for all of the items and I just absolutely love the store.
       Couture Dossier uses a special method... Sell It, Spot It, Swap It. Yulia explianed it to us as we shopped. I also loved the fact that she is very interactive with shoppers and actually told us very interesting facts that we never knew. The boutique wins various awards all the time and it is frequently visited by many celebrities.
      Everything was so amazing that I didn't know what to choose but I ended up leaving with the brown Louis Vuitton handbag that she had shown us! I love it and can't wait to wear it. I'll upload pics of it soon. Overall, it's a very lovely boutique and if you live in or near New York, you should definitely visit... well even if you don't you should still visit because it's just that great! Sequins are "in" at the moment. I personally love sequins because I'm just attracted to anything that sparkles. Sequins will add the extra spark to any outfit. Wearing sequins will definitely make people want to take a second look at you.

 I think that sequins are appropriate for day and night wear. Everyone should just be careful not to wear too many sequins at once; your outfit will look "crowded". I would compare an overcrowded sequin outfit to wearing plaid from head to toe... YUCK! Besides, who wears plaid except for

 Prep school girls.

The Sequin Chiffon Tee would look nice with a pair of leggings and nice wedges for a casual look. The Sequin Skirt and Shorts would look nice with a fitted top that's fancy but not too exciting so it won't take the focus away from the sequins on the skirt or shorts. The Sequin Pumps can be paired with a dress that's plain and needs the extra spark.

So go ahead and throw on anything that has sequins on it.
